What Is PVC Roofing?
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) roofing is a reinforced single-ply membrane with heat-welded seams. It is known for standing up to grease, oils, chemicals and fire, which makes it a top choice for restaurants, food processing, manufacturing and any building with rooftop exhaust.
Why building owners choose PVC:
- Excellent resistance to grease, chemicals and fire
- Heat-welded seams for watertight protection
- Reflective white surface for energy savings
- Decades of proven single-ply performance
- KEE-enhanced options for added flexibility and durability
- Select membranes are recyclable at end of life

PVC Roofing Products
We install complete PVC and KEE systems from leading manufacturers, with matching insulation, fasteners, adhesives and flashings so every component works together.

Versico VersiFlex PVC
VersiFlex PVC is built for grease and chemical exposure and comes in multiple thicknesses, including VersiFlex-E KEE HP membranes made with Elvaloy. Fleece-backed VersiFleece PVC is available for adhered and recover roofs, with warranties from 10 to 30 years.

Flex PVC and Elvaloy KEE
Flex pioneered PVC membranes made with Elvaloy KEE, which keeps the membrane flexible and resistant to temperature extremes and chemicals. Standard and fleece-back membranes come in 45 to 96 mil, and Flex PVC Roof Rib can give a single-ply roof the look of standing seam metal.
PVC Roofing FAQ
Why is PVC recommended for restaurants?
Grease and oils from kitchen exhaust break down many roofing materials over time. PVC is formulated to resist grease, oils and many chemicals, so it holds up much better around restaurant exhaust fans and industrial vents.
How long does a PVC roof last?
A well-installed PVC roof commonly lasts 20 to 30 years or more with routine maintenance, and manufacturer warranties of up to 30 years are available on select systems.
What is KEE PVC?
KEE (ketone ethylene ester) PVC is made with Elvaloy KEE, a polymer that keeps the membrane flexible over the long term while improving resistance to chemicals and temperature extremes. It is a premium option for demanding environments.
Is PVC more expensive than TPO?
PVC typically costs somewhat more than TPO. For buildings with grease or chemical exposure, it usually pays off in a longer service life. We will compare TPO and PVC options side by side in your proposal.
Can a PVC roof be repaired?
Yes. PVC can be heat-welded years after installation, so punctures and seam issues can usually be repaired with welded patches that become part of the membrane.
